The football legend has been unwell for some time according to several reports.

He has been battling frequent illness over the years due to his lavish lifestyle after his footballing career.
The legend was admitted to hospital in January 2019 with internal bleeding in the stomach.
Similar scenario occurred at the last World cup held in Russia where he was seen passing out in an executive box at the Argentina-Nigeria match.
The effect of cocaine also caused him being admitted to hospital in 2004 due to severe heart and respiratory problems.
The Napoli legend helped his side to their first ever league title with his exploit.
Maradona will forever be remembered for leading Argentina to the 1986 FIFA World Cup in Mexico where they beat West Germany 3-2 in the final.
Exactly four years later in Italy, he led Argentina to the final again but lost to the West Germany by a goal margin 1-0.
Maradona played for top clubs including Napoli, Barcelona, Sevilla, Boca Juniors, Newell’s Old Boys and Argentinos Juniors.
