Eagles: Super eagles land in Sierra Leone safely

Super eagles of Nigeria flew this morning to Sierra Leone, Freetown for the return fixture of the African Cup of Nation qualifier at exactly 8am Nigerian time, Searchsport.org

The only omitted player, Victor Osimhen has returned to Napoli in Italy after his injury and will not take part in the return fixture taking place in Sierra Leone, Freetown.

“We will take a ferry to Freetown when we land in Sierra Leone,” Eagles spokeman Babafemi Raji disclosed to Brilafm on the morning show.

He also disclosed that the team has taken covid-19 travel test before heading to Sierra Leone, Freetown and the results came back negative for all officials and players of the team heading to Siaka Stevens Stadium in Freetown, the national stadium of Sierra Leone.

Reports also has it that Samuel Chukweze, the Villarreal forward has recovered from the minor injury he had same as Emmanuel Dennis of Club Brugge and also Leon Balogun of Rangers, meaning all players are deem fit for the match.
