Edinson Cavani, Manchester United striker is set to be investigated by the English FA after he made a post on his Instagram, reports Searchsport.org
Cavani who shared a fan Instagram story, using racially offensive term, meaning “Thanks Black”. He later deleted the post since then.
Manchester United since then have stressed that the post is of affection and it had different meaning in his native country, South America.
United noted that he( Cavani ) has been educated regarding his post which has different meaning in the UK and since then he has deleted the post.
The FA did not wish to comment on Sunday night, but Sky Sports News understands the governing body will launch a probe into the online post.
