Sadiq Umar, Super Eagles and former Rangers striker has been identified as a potential target for top clubs after his impressive season in the second division club in Spain, searchsport.org reports.
One of the top clubs interested in him is a Spanish Laliga club, Sevilla, who are willing to bring him to Sanchez-Puzjuan Stadium. Sadiq could be on his way to the Europa League winners.
The 24 years old striker joined Almeria in the second division in Spain from Partizan Belgrade. And has been a revelation for the side since he joined with a lot of impressive matches he has for them.
According to Extra Futbol, Sadiq Umar has been identified as a possible target in the summer transfer window for Sevilla, according to Sevilla’s sporting director, Monchi.
His club side, Almeria currently sit third on La Liga smartbank table with Sadiq being instrumental to the form of his club. His form has been a key push for Almeria to gain promotion to the Spanish top flight.
The January player of the month has racked up 12 goals and four assists to his name in 22 league appearances this season.
Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo has also praised Umar for his sharpness in front of goals for Almeria as they battle for promotion to La Liga.
